The Real Deal

The left wing blogs are full of posts by "feminists" trashing Sarah Palin. I knew this was coming, but still, you'd think these idiots would move beyond this. Of course, in their mindset, a feminist is only someone who supports public funding for abortion on demand, and dabbles in lesbianism. This type of crap is soooo yesterday. Let's get real ladies, shall we? Who is the real feminist? Hillary Clinton is who she is because she married into a political career. Sarah Palin earned her career. She started at the bottom and worked her way up. Unlike Hillary, she never sought her own glory, nor a place in the history books. She got into politics for all the right reasons. She was sick and tired of the corrupt politics and high taxes in her state, so she decided to do something about it. I honestly think what drives the morons on blogs such as the Huffington Post crazy is that Sarah Palin is everywoman. She's the real deal. Most women in this country can identify with her. She married her highschool sweetheart, started a family, and joined the PTA. Fed up with the status quo, she decided to campaign for the city council (which, btw, is the extent of Obama's experience). She then became Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska and then Governor. She has five children (unheard of these days), the last one she had in office and has Down Syndrome. This, of course, drives them crazy too. 90% of women will abort a baby with Down Syndrome. Sarah Palin didn't because she is pro-life. That's why they are foaming at the mouth.

She's a working mom, who is breastfeeding her newborn infant. When I see pictures of her holding her baby, I am touched. I see myself. The more I think about it, the more I like McCain's pick. She, and her family, are the middle class that Biden is pretending to be. Sarah Palin is authentic, the real deal. And the Obama campaign knows it. Just look at how today Biden has transformed himself from attack dog, to Joe American. They are worried. And if the Obama Campaign is worried, then McCain made the right choice.
