A gang of Haredim attacked Christian pilgrims in Israel yesterday. This comes months after Israeli nationalist, Haim Eliahu Habibi, attacked worshippers in the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth. The Israeli government keeps saying these are isolated incidents. But are they?

what seems more newsworthy about this story is that this time of violence happened in israel, or by jews. it's an extraordinarily rare event and you just don't associate this type of activity with jews, in general.
