Gotta love this. The Cambridge Police Union endorsed Scott Brown. You have to appreciate this on a couple of levels. First of all, Coakley has been talking about how her husband belongs to the Cambridge Police Union for a while during the campaign, implying that they supported her. Secondly, the whole Beer Summit joke. Remember when Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates claimed that he was assaulted by Cambridge Police officer James Crowley? Obama initially talked trash about the police department and when it turned out that Gates was an idiot, Obama had them all over at the White House for a beer. It turns out that the police department was not amused.
