ACORN? What's That?

I am actually surprised to what lengths the mainstream media will go to in acting a propaganda agent for the White House. Although, no one should really be surprised these days. Here is what I think is going on. The talking points from the White House goes something like this: "Make this a right wing media story. So a couple of idiots at Acorn are advising a pimp and prostitute how to avoid paying taxes. So what? We have bigger issues to deal with, like Afganistan". This, of course, coming from our Community Organizer in Chief, whose campaign gave over $800,000 to ACORN. Obama chose to go on every network morning show today except for Fox. The NY Times, Washington Post, and the LA Times have barely covered the story. ABC and NBC have yet to cover the story, and CBS and CNN have only had a couple of sound bites about it. Will it work? Maybe. I say Nope for the Hope Dope. Not when people are pissed about the size of government and tax increases, as exemplified by the Tea Parties last weekend. Which, by the way, numbered in the hundreds of thousands, despite what the drive bys are saying. To have our President closely associated with an organization that is corrupt to it's core, potentially collecting BILLIONS of dollars in stimulus money, while at the same time advising a pimp and his 'ho how to avoid paying taxes is just a little too much.

I attended the student run protest at Notre Dame in May. There was approximately 3,000 people there. The media blocked that part of the story out. I know from first hand experience that there is a deliberate effort on the media's part to block out any story that is not favorable to The One. Will it work? Not this time.
