Michael Steele Becomes First Black RNC Chairman

I am so excited about Michael Steele heading up the RNC. Read here... Many people will say that the only reason he got elected was because of Obama. However, I honestly believe he would have gotten elected regardless for the presidential election results. That said, it does give many people of color who are socially conservative another party to look at. After all, it was Latinos and African Americans who, in large numbers, passed Prop 8 in California. Also, I find it difficult to believe that minorities are lock in step with the Democrats on taxes and the environment.
