Boston's Big Dig Disaster

I recently returned from a vacation on Cape Cod and drove through the very same tunnel two days before the ceiling collapsed on a driver, killing her. As my sister drove me to the airport through the tunnel, I was telling her that I thought someone ought to have been fired by now over the Big Dig mess. No other city in the country would have tolerated being torn up for over 10 years, it's taxes and tolls raised, and it's citizen's lives put in danger. The Big Dig is a mess. It is THE most expensive highway project in the history of the US...and it was put together haphazardly. The city, which normally is hard to get around, is even more so now that it has become one huge construction zone. It's time for heads to roll....
